This typical Andorran ski resort is set at the end of a valley. The resort of Arinsal has recently been linked to Pal, creating a well-respected ski area, particularly suited to beginners and intermediates. The village also offers a wide choice of good hotels and apartments. The ski area boasts 68 kilometres of pistes, most of them are pretty tree-lined red and blue runs.

The ski school has a good reputation and offers many English-speaking instructors. The resort also boasts some of the most reliable snow in Andorra as most of the slopes are above 1900 metres and complimented by many snow cannons. Snow boarders can enjoy the snow park. Arinsal is popular with young holidaymakers who ski during the day and enjoy a lively atmosphere in the evening.

The resort is particularly popular with British holidaymakers.Non-skiers can enjoy bowling, snowshoeing, walking trails and the health spa. There isn't a whole lot else to do in Arinsal if you don't ski, but you can catch the bus to Andorra la Vella for a spot of shopping.
