There is also a glass bottom boat that allows you to see the array of marine life around the Costa Blanca.

The iconic Rock of Ifach provides many fun things to do in Calpe, with the surrounding nature reserve being popular for hiking and mountain biking.

And nearby Alicante is great for a daytrip to explore the historic architecture and wide array of art galleries and museums.

A new modern hotel, opened in 2007 with a fantastic modern spa, elegant and contempory rooms and overlooking the sea and beach. There is plenty of golf nearby for those that wish (bookable through the hotel) , a outdoor swimming pool, free wifi in the lobby area, a buffet and an a la carte restaurant, a bar and a beach bar, entertainment in high season and conference facilities. All rooms are airconditioned with satelite TV, minibar, full bathroom with hairdryer, room service, telephone, safe (payale locally) and most have balconies. Guests can choose between bed & breakfast, half board or full board (all taken in the modern buffet style restaurant. For guests on half or full board a special buffet gala is included over New Year's eve. The spa provides sauna, turkish baths, jacuzzis, indoor pools and various treatment rooms and relaxation area. The property also features luxury apartments "Del Mar" for those wishing the freedom to cater for themselves. All apartments come with LCD TV and DVD player, air conditioning, washing machine and dish washer, microwave oven, iron/ironing board, balcony and can use the facilities of the hotel. Apartment cleaning is on arrival only. Guests staying in apartments will need to pay a €150 refundable breakage deposit (per apartment) on arrival.

Villa Marisol

The hotel, which was renovated in 2006, has 17 rooms on 2 floors, of which 4 are junior suites and one is a suite. It is air-conditioned and comprises an entrance hall with 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility and a cloakroom. In addition to this the hotels provides guests with lifts, a TV room, WLAN Internet access, cycle hire and parking for those arriving by car. For a fee laundry and room services are also available. All hotel facilities are disability-friendly. The free car park is under video surveillance and is available to all guests. The rooms are furnished in different styles and each comes with its own bath/ shower with hairdryer. A satellite TV with flat screen, a direct dial telephone, a minibar and Internet access (charges apply) also come as standard. As well as a double or king-size bed the rooms have a safe and a terrace with a view over Peñón de Ifach or the garden. The air conditioning is individually adjustable.
