Holidays in Tingaki boast some of the biggest, best beaches on the island. Visitors will find traditional Greek cuisine served in the local tavernas, as well as a wider choice of international dishes in the restaurants. Alternatively, the nearby Kos Town offers over 200 bars and restaurants as well as a few discos.

Holidays in Tingaki feature a range of popular excursions, including a trip to the hot springs in Agios Fokas, a visit to the charming old town of Pyli, and a daytrip to the island's capital, six miles, (10 kilometres) away. Visitors can cycle along the coast or take the bus to Kos Town. Here visitors can stroll along the harbour, indulge in excellent shopping, visit archaeological sites, and explore the narrow cobbled streets. Those who fancy travelling further a field can take a boat over to the neighbouring islands of Patmos, Kalymnos, and Leros.
