Holidays in Mastihari offer a long sandy beach, traditional Greek cooking, and regular links to Kos Town. The picturesque fishing village of Mastihari is located on the north coast of Kos. Visitors can soak up the sun on the spacious sandy beach, tuck in to locally caught seafood in the traditional Greek tavernas, mosey round the small harbour, or take a bus into Kos Town.

The resort is quieter than many of its neighbours, but is fast becoming a popular tourist spot for its traditional Greek charm. Holidays in Mastihari offer a choice of water sports - windsurfing is particularly popular, as well as pretty cycling and hiking routes. Tourists can also take boat trips from the harbour to the secluded coves nearby.

Daily buses run to Kos Town, 18 miles, (29 kilometres) away, where tourists will find an extensive sandy beach, excellent shopping, as well as more than 200 bars, tavernas and discos. Evenings in Mastihari are relatively relaxed and low-key. There is a collection of bars and tavernas on the beachfront, but those looking for a more energetic night can head to the lively bars, loud music and all-night drinking and dancing of Kos Town.
