Beach on Corfu Located near the centre of Corfu Island, Benitses is 7.5 miles, (12 kilometres) south of Corfu Town. Holidays in Benitses combine whitewashed houses, hanging flowers, olive trees and natural springs set against a backdrop of lush green mountains. Benitses has grown from a small fishing village into a popular tourist resort, but has managed to retain its traditional characteristics. It still features a working harbour with local fishermen.
