Alternatively, families can enjoy a trip to Aqualand, which is within walking distance from Aghios Ioannis.
The nightlife in Aghios Ioannis is relatively low-key. Evenings are spent enjoying drinks in local bars and tasting the traditional dishes in tavernas. Those after hectic all-night drinking and dancing can head north to the resort of Sidari. The rowdier Sidari is six miles, (10 kilometres) from Aghios Ioannis, and offers an abundance of pulsating bars and nightclubs.
