Those wanting to explore the resort's surroundings can amble along the pretty coastal path to the traditional fishing village of Cala Bona. Alternatively, spectacular views of Cala Millor Bay can be enjoyed from the 17th-century watchtower on the headland nature reserve.

Situated 40 miles east of Palma, Cala Miller is a two-hour coach journey from the airport. Public transport is somewhat limited in this area, so visitors may find it useful to hire a car. A short drive away is the Caves of Drach, the monastery of San Salvador and the African wildlife park. Local markets in the nearby towns of Son Servere, Arta and Manacor are also worth a visit.
